Default Thanks for the NBO

Just a quick "big thanks" to John and all other personnel involved in the organisation of this years NBO.

The weather wasn't kind today and I guess quite a few stayed away because of this, but still a pretty good turn-out.....I never got there until after 1pm, but the count after that was 259 or so.

Some very nice motors on display and as ever, the usual high level of camaraderie with the crowd.

Good club stands..........a particular mention from me to the Wagons Corner. I would have been part of it but sold the Scoob a couple of weeks ago.

Terzo stand was brilliant!!!!!!

All in all a good day out despite the weather.

One downer on the way home was what looked like quite a bad accident on the Northbound A1 at the A59 junction. Saw a motorbike laid in the cariageway and the rider being attended to, some distance away! Hope he was ok.

Hope everyone got home ok. Fingers crossed for better weather next year..........get the order in early Mr Harding!!!

Should've dropped into the SMACS stand. We brought way too much food!! Congrats to Martin and Pete (and anyone else) who served their time at the BBQ!

Default Many Thanks To All Today

It was my first BIG ONE and won`t be the last. Very well organised and well run by Lord Harding and co. It was special to me because I have just had surgery to remove a melanoma from my back, yup a cancerous mole. It was just soooooo great to see all fellow Scooby owners showing their support (and their cars). I was the bloke walking round with the big bandage under my scooby t-shirt btw.

See you all next year.
BTW The wife wants some decals now!!!!!

Thanks again for the great day out.

My fourth N.B.O., goodish turnout, crap weather really put a damper on things, think thats why people left early etc. Good club stands, and parts and goodies stands etc, not so happy with food and drinks stall though, very very expensive, £1 just for a cup of tea, and even more higher costs for food. Would be an idea maybe for someone independent to do something next year food and drink wise, more practicable prices etc, and also make some money at the same time for the charity funds etc.
Lets hope the weather is more kind next year.
Manythanks to all who made it happen.

Echo what's been said - a great day.

Luckily I had a 'proper' car so could hang around 'Wagon Corner' which was superb. Thanks to everyone there for making us feel welcome.

Well done to John too, being dumped in a different field and having so many people turn up early caused him a few problems early on, but he took it in his stride and sorted everything out. I missed the final amount rasied as I was driving out - but I'm sure it must have been pretty good, despite the weather.

Big thumbs up to everyone involved in the organisation. We had a great drive there from Warrington, and ended up on the Wagon Corner stand! Spent most of the rest of the day in the park with the kids, bit damp but smiles all round.

Look forward to seeing the pics from the day.
