Bruce, the final starts at 1pm, as said in the very top of the thread.
You aint there at 1pm, sadly your competitor will be given a bye through the next round.
When do we know who we will be racing 1st?

Joe, suspect the first round will be:
1. ANDY FORREST -v- NEIL SINCLAIR
2. STEVEN DARLEY -v- BASH NAZIR
3. MICHAEL WHITE -v- BRUCE JOHNSON
4. JO LUCKETT -v- YASIN AKRAM
Suspect 1 will be a bye for Andy
Suspect 2 will be "feck knows what will happen"
Suspect 3 wont happen, so a bye for noone :D
Suspect 4 will be "feck knows what will happen"
then
A Winner of 1 -v- Winner of 4
B Winner of 2 -v- Winner of 3
then
Winner of A -v- Winner of B
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

as Steven says, its usually 1st vs 8th, 2nd vs 7th, 3rd vs 6th and 4th vs 5th.
anyone not sat ready in the drag start line area in their fully warmed up and ready to run car at 1pm will be unlucky!
once the cars line up as called, if you arent there your opponent gets a bye run. anyone redlighting is disqualified, and its first across the line wins, not the fastest time necessarily.
winning car should then return directly to start line area, as you will then go again in the next race quite soon afterward.
same then applies to semis and final itself.

there is a driver briefing and noise test at all the elvington events to alow you to run, but if you are unable to get there early, a seperate check can be done on yours if need be, but would be better if you can be there for 9am ish to run through usual sign on/briefing etc etc.

Chris.....
Ive made the decision not to run at SSO final this weekend..mainly due to finances....just cant afford to do 1200 miles (2 trips to elvington) in one month.
