Not really, but i could put up a gazebo type thing if people think its a good idea? Bring your own grub and a disposable BBQ?
Anyway, if we were to get a proper stand, what club would we be classed as? Subaru club of Nottingham, Mansfield, Lincoln, Grantham and surrounding areas?:lol1:

I know about you lot Lol But us that live the east side of the M1 its a pain going to Shardlow for the meets. Perhaps a rival "East Midlands Scoobies" is required? lol

We have members attending meets regular from Skegness, Lincoln, Newark, Mansfield, Notts, Derby, Leicester, Chesterfield,Sheffield,Northampton, Loughborough, Melton, Stoke, Birmingham, Stafford, Redditch i could keep going.Meets have anything between 60 - 130 cars so why not say hello one meet. But not July cos we are at Thoresby ;) :)

Yes there are a few spaces left, it a pay at the gate event £6 for adults :)

good on the guys from midlands scoobies for not doing a sidc and expecting people to pay extra to park there car on there own club stand as well as paying the entrance fee

I don't think sidc are doing that either £6 is just the normal entry fee. Only difference being is the sidc stand is sidc members only and it has a more prominant location in the show i think :)

Well as you know i live closer to Thoresby than most people, so I will hope to pick up on the end of a convoy if there are any.

There doesnt seem to be much interest from people about the travelling there. Personally I will do the same as last year. Arrive, park where ever. Then walk about to find some familiar faces. Then move car later. But if i get invited to park with a club on arrival, then ill find a spot near them.

Well the show opens at 10am, so a 10.30 or 11 arrival time might be a good idea? If you guys are travelling up the A1 then I suggest you turn at Newark along the A617 towards Mansfield. Then up the A614 towards Doncaster. I'll meet you all between Newark and the A614.

Rich hopefully a few of us are going to Thoresby. How about meeting you at Mc'd/KFC car park again on Roman way, Newark at 10:30. Last year we went up the A1 to Thoresby and turned left just before Elkesley (where the speed cameras are) on the B6387, seemed a good route.

For anyone going to JAPS show at Thoresby there is a meet point on the A1 at Gonerby Moor roundabout (where Downtown is) in the services car park. Meet for 10:00am and leaving 10:15ish to meet up with the Newark lads/lad :thumb:.

It would be out my way to go that route, but more fun! No doubt Andy will meet me there too? The Notts boys a bit quiet.
