I have had the car nearly two years now, and that combined with a six year old etc etc the seats are looking a little grubby now.

What products methods to clean both the seats and roof lining, I was going to just get an interior valet but fancy having a go myself.

Car is 02 WRX BTW

Cheers

Cookie :)

seats are not a problem with a wetvac or general extraction machine

headcloths i don t touch TBH

if it is just a few marks then any multi purpose cleaner and a damp chamois can be used to wipe them out, full on staining, i leave them well alone TBH

get them too wet and they can sag, water lines can appear when drying, and they are a general PITA

i leave them for other people to do

i would be intrested in what others do with the head cloth TBH , i know most other people in my area will not touch them either unless it is a simple wipe down (rang the local competitors a while back and checked :D )

Same here - wipe down with Poorboy's APC using a microfibre work towel is as far as I go, but to be honest this has always shifted most of the stains I've come across. My golden rule is never wet any interior fabrics more than necessary to get the job done. That said, a good pal of mine who is a pro detailer regularly used his wet and dry vac on roof liners, but rather him than me, for the reasons Mick states. :)
