As some of you may have read, a few of us local to lincoln met up last month at Woodcocks pub.

We are planning to meet again on last sunday of this month, and hopefully make it a regular thing - everyone is welcome.

(Those that were there last month, nice to meet you + hope to see you all again on 28th!)

you got the exhaust then codfather (either that or you have a friend called Mr Vortex coming to the meet!) is it fitted + sounding like it should?

would like to come for drive down to grantham but off on hols early on 12th so better get packed + get some kip.

got mine booked in for 2yr/20k service at chandlers horncastle on 2nd june - i wonder what smashing courtesy car i will get this time!?!

I will try to get to the Lincoln meet, but not this month. As its bank hol so will be out and about. Sounds like a good idea tho and as Im in Newark i can choose Lincoln meet or Grantham. Infact I may alternate the meets?:D

Also jus thought id ask, altho il probably ask when i see you all if anybody knows a local mechanic who'd take up the challenge of fitting my cam seals(dont fancy doing it myself as i dont have equipment to set-up timing ect

not sure on garages - mine goes into chandlers but they would probably charge alot to do a job like that

they wouldn't even touch my car...cause its an import:(

out of a matter of interest why dont you use chandlers, is that the one at grantham?

The only downside to carnetix is it would be a 120 mile round trip for me, plus i think they'd need the car for a while:wonder:

I use chandlers at horncastle - this is where i bought the car + i still have 2 free services.

Chandlers at grantham were not very welcoming + tried their very best to be as un-helpful as possible! Have heard similar remarks about grantham from several other subaru owners.

horncastle seem a good bunch to me.

how ever i take mine to the garage next to where i work for regular check ups decent guy got a green scoob himself and is not to expensive to use, on whisby road, in lincoln give hime a shout

grantham chandlers isn't that great but if you go and see a bloke call Jason on here as soobmeister he would help you out, sorted me out a few times and been helpful

I got in touch with carnetix and they were very helpful and they quoted me a reasonable fee regarding what work is required..

only just realised its this sunday! has soon come around again. hopefully we should get parked together this time as it was a bit busy there last month what with the evo's. lets hope the weather is good.................

he based near danwoods office's and next to where i work tell him you know me, probably will know me by my blue wagon i usually pop round when i need something lol

I think maybe a join up would be good, say one month in Lincoln the next month around the Grantham area. It just a thought. Have a chat together and see what your thoughts are.
