i still wanna come but i just had my head gaskets changed an i doubt ul all stick around while i gently break em in lol

 

Best get some driving done now then!! Didn't even know head gaskets had to be broke in???

 

Any ideas where the run will be going ;0) only ask as if my header tank aint arrived i aint chancing it lol lol so come on Subaru Threeways pull ya finger out....................

I dont know the area. Last time it was just follow the leader!! Some lovely countryside round there but i'd be just as happy on dual carriageways!!

Sorry jules its a 45 min drive for me, I wanted to make a bit of a day of it like last time. Why do you think there's no interest?

 

Couldn't make it today , dash in bits can't get the speedo reconnected so car in limp home mode. Typical , 1 week before we leave for Le Mans and its all going pear shaped .

 

I dont know why were losing intrest but I know if im gonna go on a mad drive like that again i need to sort some things with the car. I think some people might have been put off driving like that and would have prefered to have driven to llandudno or just around bethesda then to betwys.

Try again on the 11th and the 18th! might as well. hopefully i would have done some of the jobs by then too.

FAO POO2Y: I found that when i was re-fitting the binacle the speedo cable wouldnt reach so i re-fitted the binacle with the cable not attached then had to lay on by back in the drivers footwell, feel around untill I found the cable then put it back in from under there. its not too hard to do once youve done it once but it is an awkward position to get in.

 

Well, I went. Arrived just on 10am and saw Mitch leaving the car park...don't think she saw me though as she never came back!

I was wondering if the lack of interest today was due to the Tatton Park show as that is near by for a lot of people.

I will put something up here later to have a little vote on dates to see what day would hold most interest and also nominate someone to organise a drive????

We can't make any meets 10th til 25th june . After that will be up for a meet and cruise any time as long as I don't have any daft ideas like taking the dash apart .

Big thanks GazJenno , that advice worked a treat , speedo now works and so does car . Holiday mode now back on and smiling.

No i didnt see you,but yes if i had i would have turned back,im blind when im driving ,oops shouldnt say that lol lol lol should i!!!!
I least i made the effort even though i didnt finnish work till 02.00am this morning (anyone feel guilty now )
shame we were the only ones eh.........could have done with a coffee lmao lol...............
