Anyone know if the big centre bolt that the bearings are behind has to come off to take the back discs off ? Want to replace for new ones I've bought but cant get the damn things off !

Do you have a MY99 RB5? (going by your sig)

If so then your handbrake shoes may have bound to the inside of the brake disc. There's an adjustable sprocket behind the dust cover.

However, still cant get the discs off so may have to pop into my local brake place and put it up on the ramp as I cant really see what I'm doing to that handbarke adjuster.

Hi Gav,

No worries. Mine were a complete PITA to get off. I used some bolts to coax them a little and then a rubber mallet to complete the job. I was lucky not too damage the handbrake mechanis, so be careful if you go down that route.
