Going through my lenses working out what skylight filters I need to buy as not all my lenses are fitted with them. I worked out that all the Nikkor's focus the opposite way to the sigmas!!

On the Nikkor's the distance ring, the closest is on the right and on the sigmas its on the left!!

So 1/2 my lenses swing from right to left when looking for focus lock, and 1/2 swing the opposite way!!!

Thank god for AF and I don't have to think about it!!

Nopes, turned up about 20 mins after I posted last.

1 heart attack later and all memory is fitted, jees was it a tight fit (no 80's music jokes please). Never had to put so much pressure on memory boards before.

Now I just need to fit all the skylight filters.

Sorry Simon, wil try and stick stuff through ona pre10am next time.

Tamron were the only independent manufacturer to make the focus ring operate in the direction of the original Camera - depending on the mount supplied. Not sure if that's still the case.
