Gutmann pug 07 May 2006, 21:02 Me yep ........ Portsmouth You? STi wanna Subaru 07 May 2006, 21:34 Nope. Manchester United. Played Saturday football for the past 10 years (played sundays as well). Train on a Weds so don't have time to go watch but intend to once I quit playing which I hope is not for a good few years! kingofturds 07 May 2006, 22:00 Used to get to as many newcastle games as i could. living in cornwall not easy though. and since i got with the missus fecking impossible:D Senior_AP 07 May 2006, 22:05 Now Arsenal are moving to the Emirates I hope to go many times a year now. Should be easier, no change that, 'less difficult' to get tickets with an extra 21'000 seats each match!! Thank god, I "should" be watching Champs League games next season assuming we either beat Barca in the final or if we lose, winning the qualifier against whoever that may be. Onwards and upwards for the Arsenal!! First trip to the Emirates, Bergy's testimonial. Should be a fun day, and a great opener for the fantastic new stadium. davyboy 07 May 2006, 22:27 Have you tried to get tickets? Even I have been to highbury...and sat in the home stand. Not difficult if you really want to go. Little Miss WRX 08 May 2006, 00:57 Go the mighty Aston Villa - used to have a season ticket in the Holte End, when I started refereeing it got in the way of the games. So ended up taking up refereeing and watching the Villa when the two timetables didn't clash. BexTait 08 May 2006, 01:57 Go to as many games as a student loan will allow at Old Trafford (indeed, was there today). Just waiting to find out if I've been successful in getting a ST... richiewong 08 May 2006, 07:57 The best team in the north east despite what Pete spouts on about:D Season ticket for the Toon. Floyd 08 May 2006, 08:24 Have you tried to get tickets? Even I have been to highbury...and sat in the home stand. Not difficult if you really want to go. Yes! I went yesterday and sat in the Chapman lounge = very civilised :D Full hospitality as well :thumb: F MattW 08 May 2006, 08:29 Used to go to Old Trafford as a single bloke a few years back. Since I moved down here I occasionally go now and again. Not the cost or the ticket availability, it's the whole day gone with travel and when you have kids it is tough. Senior_AP 08 May 2006, 08:56 Have you tried to get tickets? Even I have been to highbury...and sat in the home stand. Not difficult if you really want to go. 6 years ago perhaps! Things have moved on alot since the days when Aston Villa were managed by John Gregory. :thumb: When did I say that I haven't been? I've been twice, Charlton in the Premier league and Lyon in the champs league. Won the first, drew the second. For all home prem and CL matches, tickets are available first to Gold members, then silver, then red. If you get a chance to get tickets you've done well. This season, the only time tickets went on sale to general public was the womens FA Cup mathces. Being a red member I had no chance of any home tickets. Now we're in the Emirates, concurrent to that I'll up my membership and go several times a year. realistically I'd like to go to 4 or 5 home games next season. Senior_AP 08 May 2006, 09:01 Yes! I went yesterday and sat in the Chapman lounge = very civilised :D Full hospitality as well :thumb: F Ahh yes, nice one!!! :thumb: :) For me to have attended the hospitality package I would have had to A. Pay for the girlfriend to become a red member. B. Paid for BOTH of us to go to the match with hospitality. C. Transport for both of us to and from Highbury. All in, would have been knocking on the door of £800. I guess in some peoples eyes that doesn't make me a "real" fan. Very easy for people to say that when they support clubs that charge a tenner for a ticket and their idea of hospitality is giving you an umbrella. Gutmann pug 08 May 2006, 09:02 Very easy for people to say that when they support clubs that charge a tenner for a ticket and their idea of hospitality is giving you an umbrella. We've just gone all seater ...........put a three piece suite in :lol1: Senior_AP 08 May 2006, 09:05 We've just gone all seater ...........put a three piece suite in :lol1: You could be in the Bernebeau but as long as that bloke keeps ringing that fecking bell I'll never go to Fratton!!! Aaaarrgghh!! ;) MikT 08 May 2006, 10:38 Have you tried to get tickets? Even I have been to highbury...and sat in the home stand. Not difficult if you really want to go. What game and when was it that you got tickets easily for? As a TRS (Silver) member i find it far from easy getting hold of tickets. Senior_AP 08 May 2006, 10:56 What game and when was it that you got tickets easily for? As a TRS (Silver) member i find it far from easy getting hold of tickets. I'm a red peasant. lol. FA Cup semi final anyone (the womens of course) ;) I'll up my membership to Silver on payday and hope that'l see me through for plenty of matches at Ashburton Grove. Floyd 08 May 2006, 11:10 Did I mention that I was invited to go so it was all free for me? HTH :D F davegtt 08 May 2006, 11:13 Season Ticket holder at Boundary Park from 1984/85 season to 1993, was lucky enough to see the glory days for us too. Moved away from Oldham now so struggle to get to games but usually do about 2 home games a season and 15 away games. (those within reasonable travelling distance etc) MikT 08 May 2006, 11:20 I'll up my membership to Silver on payday and hope that'l see me through for plenty of matches at Ashburton Grove. I'm not sure what the script is with the move but i think there is a waiting list for Silver membership. Paul uk.steve 08 May 2006, 11:29 The Arsenal. sivler member, and the use of my dad's season ticket(which he had to wait 12 yrs to get) but got there in the end!!lol lpski1 08 May 2006, 14:34 Season ticket over Westham for the last 5 seasons, albeit shared the last two seasons and paid to go to exra games. :thumb: More than happy with our return to top flight, unfortunately we have gifted the gooners. :Suspiciou as if we was going to roll over for Spurs, chyeah right :lol1: A Gooner friend is going on Wednesday to pic his seats at the Emirates for his season tickets, that he's been on a 2 year waiting list for. :o Peanuts 08 May 2006, 16:33 season ticket at PFC, well, was until this year.
