I've just bought some 2nd hand Eibach springs for a classic.
Bearing in mind their 2nd hand (6 months old) and that they will probably just arrive in bubble wrap, can anyone advise how to determine the fronts from the rears and which way up they go i.e if the have progressive coils.

Or will they only fit a certain way up, as some threads seem to indicate.

According to the seller they still have Eibach clearly written on them, so maybe they will be marked 'Front' & 'Rear'.

I have done this sort of job in the past on Fords, but if there is anything specific you think might help, it would be appreciated.
