At least we know how to support a team........even when we are loosing 4-0 we still sing. Most of you lot sit in your pipe and slipper sections and moan..........

Note to self .....scousers are in town put locking wheel nuts on the Rover, yes they will nick anything......

Play up pompey.

Support means everything ........ football is boring without it.

Lost 3-1 and once again sang our hearts out .......Even sang a song or two for the ever so quiet Scousers....... They put their scarfs up and we sang you'll never walk alone for them :D :D At least they clapped us at the end.......

Best moment of the game ..... Mr Portsmouth waving a car and house Stereo in the air to a rendition of '' you nicked my stereo, you nicked my stereo''

I guess its because the big teams buy their supporters if you can call them that ..... and if they aren't winning week in, week out they sit there grumbling into there champagne and prawn sarnies .....

If we are nil nil after 15 minutes thats something to sing about in our books ........ If someone hits the cross bar in the halftime cross bar challenge thats something to sing about.......If Hughes doesn't get booked, thats something to sing about ........ If Harry plays our comedy card (Karidas) thats something to (laugh) sing about ......... you get the idea :D :D :D :D

Isn't it what football's about? I can sit at home nice and quiet and watch it........

Play up pompey ......

I love the "hard done-by, working class, I'm a REAL fan, gonna take my shirt off and swear alot, even though there are kids next to me and it's minus 15 degrees" mentality.

'Real' fans, I love 'em.

lol. I have "been". You've been more, but it's a case of supply and demand. :)

Next you'll grab hold of my hands and tell me in an all gruff voice that thye've "never seen a hard days graft". ;)

er no ........ nowt to do with working class stuff.

To me going to a match is about a couple of beers before, standing on the terraces (or infront of your seat) singing and shouting my heart out, swearing like a trooper, giving my team all the encouragement I can, while attempting to put the opposition off.........then at the end of the game, filing out of the stand, back to the car to listen to 5 live on the drive home ......no trouble no bother, just a good day out.

If anyone tries to convince me that its about anything else other than that, sorry but it wont work. Long may it continue.

I've never, at any point said anything to the detriment. I guess for you it's just a little easier to do the aforementioned than it is for me, this however should now change. :D Roll on 2006/7 :)

First stop, Dennis' testimonial Vs Ajax.
