cos he supplied my tuffnol carp spacer in double quick time for similar money to what you're suggesting.
he also sells the little o rings in tuffnol for the header tank as well as all other types of useful stuff in a similar vein.
no two week lead-in times though ;)

Just a thought:

Divert this GB to Karl?

Spacers + 4 x gaskets + 6 longer bolts to make this a true bolt-on job.
Bonus upgrade: A set of his header tank insulators, cheaper if bought all together.

I personally would much prefer to support Carl. No disrespect aimed at anyone involved at all.

I may be interested, is there a real gain power wise?

Sounds good Graham

I would say that they may increase power slightly, but every little helps making the engine more efficent

I'd be in on a GB Kit :D

All very flattering, thanks guys. :o

Not wishing to tread on anyones toes but i now ask £70 for a pair of spacers. This includes longer bolts/washers in stainless steel and a pair of 5mm Tufnol Carp (same material as spacers) header tank washers. I normally do a £5 concession if five or more sets are bought so £65 plus 4% PayPal fees if necessary.

Gaskets part numbers:

S14035AA281 - Phase 1/1.5 (MY92-98)
S14035AA421 - Phase 2 (MY99-00)

Around £6 +VAT each at your local dealer.

T5OLf - Just keep a straight face and do/say nothing and then deal with it if she notices, if it's under the bonnet she will never notice ;) LOL

Carl,

Can you just supply me the longer bolts please, are they just standerd bolts or are they the fancy ones like P1mark has on his engine bay?

If anybody just wants the spacers for a phase 1 (MY92-98) and needs them right now then i have some in garage i ended up not using (now have MY06 so no use to me).

PM me with e-mail for pics etc. £20 delivered.

Tony.

She never spots owt most times, i had an astra 16v engine on throttle bodies in the garage that went in my chevette, told her it cost 50 quid. Only spotted my last spent cos i left pics on the camera :brickwall
