Right, you know on the facelift scoobs theres that flip up thingy to put stuff in. Well i know you can get a gauge holder to fit there but can you get something to hold a 7" tv monitor? Or any size?

You will have to "pimp" it yourself and make some kind of a bracket or hindge... Or maybe someone out there has already mounted a monitor in the space and can post on here to enlighten us all. I was thinking of doing the same thing on my car. cw42 05 May 2006, 23:34 Are you both talking about classic scoobys here? If so, I've tried to put a monitor in the top glovebox, but not a chance without some major reworking of that area, so I settled for my pc screen where the stereo used to be :D http://fp.wilky42.f9.co.uk/CAR/GRAPHICS/carpc_building/DSC01664_2.jpg Thats me trying to get a screen in there, and here's my solution to the problem: http://fp.wilky42.f9.co.uk/CAR/GRAPHICS/carpc_building/Picture%20003.jpg I've changed cars now, as Gillp95 knows, but I've still got the surround that houses the LinnITX screen, with 2 video inputs :D which may be for sale at the right price :D |
