Well, after almost a week, :o I finally got around to getting some pix up from the F1 testing - why does work have to get in the way of the things you actually enjoy doing... that and a number of things I had to sort out over the weekend (maybe I'll tell you later, let see how things pan out first :D :D ) but it may be good news, for me at least.
Anyway here are the pix if you are interested... please let me know what you think, good or bad (I know a couple are out of focus already).

Oh, I forgot, they have had no editing whatsoever, so they are as is straight out of the camera.

You can avoid the fencing if you know where to stand (i.e. not on the pit straight).

Yeah, unfortunately only part of the circuit was open, so we were limited to where we could stand. I hate the damn fencing..

Could only get between Bridge & Copse. You could get against the fences in the complex so get them out of the pix but everywhere else you were too far away from the fences to avoid getting them in shot.

I found that when standing on top of the concrete banking in front of the grandstands in the complex (i.e. Luffield) you could actually miss the fences altogether and shoot over the top of them.
Unless they've changed it for this year of course...
some good shots there with a bit of fiddling & cropping :thumb:

We needs to get to a track day or something so you can give me a few pointers maybe.. oh and I'd 'love' to try out your 70-200, can't get another at that price can you?
was a one off, oulton park in 2 weeks hopefully :thumb: or just practice on the traffic on a main road :D
