R2, been practising on the playstation and have successfully written off every car I've tried it in so far:eek2: Are there any clear braking points for any of the corners? I'll be in the R5 Turbo 2, please let it be dry:)

Hi, sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello, bit busy with the car for most of the afternoon. The R5 seemed to be going well when I did get a chance to watch !

Hi John,

Didn't want to interrupt what looked like serious business!

Superb car you have there, I didn't see your class results but am assuming you would get the win after seeing your practise time (very impressive driving:) )

Really enjoyed the circuit, first time there, but was flagging by lunchtime having set off at 3.45 to get just one run......and then rain:nono: managed fourth in that run which was a bonus as I took the opportunity for some slowly sideways moments:)

Have you been to Forrestburn? am there with northern champ in july.

Best wishes,

Blot (spent 4 hours plotting the next develpments on the journey home....)

No excuses ;)

The car was underpowered
Wrong tyre choice
Gear box was playing up
Circuit was greasy
It kept raining just before I went out
Developed a miss fire
Brakes were hopeless
Suspension was incorrectly set up
Driver notes were wrong
Timing clock was faulty
Had no top end power
Got held up by the car in front
A dog ran on the track in front of me
Someone had sprayed gravel all over the chicane
I was held on the start and temps went too high
A harness strap came loose
The windscreen wipers stopped working on the start line
It's not set up for LHD cars
A haggis landed on the bonnet

OK I drove like Miss Daisy but my windscreen wipers did stop working on the start line!

So, pretty straight forward then, just a normal day at the circuit :)

Hi, yes managed to win the class, missed the first timed run, got the drive shaft so that it would engage in the diff spline, but there was nothing to hold it in. It came back out between McIntyres and the Esses on the second lap, so ran three wheel drive for 2/3rds of a lap.
Yes been to forrestburn, 20mins from my home. Very twisty/technical hill.
