I can take Chelsea winning the championship with their win over us, but if you take Rooney out of the World Cup equation, I doubt we'll even progress through the group stages. Pair that with Owen being unhappy with his recovery, and we're doomed. I'm usually optimistic about these things, but I have to be realistic - Crouch and Bent starting? We don't have a hope! What with the Rooney injury, news about Owen's (failing?) recovery, United being stuffed by Chelsea, and them winning the championship with that win. :(!
