I know where you were standing for 99% of those!!! They come under the Bridge a bit quick don't they!!! :eek:

I was there aswell Mark, managed to leave my camera in the car though!! I'd only ever seen/heard F1 cars at Goodwood before today..... blimey they're loud aren't they!!!

Bridge is sooooooooo fast.

What amazes me is the speed through Copse.

I remember when they were hard on the brakes into there with glowing brake disks. Maybe 10 years ago

A few years ago it was a couple of downshifts and a touch of the brakes.

This year its a slight lift if anything and maybe a single downshift :cuckoo:

Cheers for the comments. Really pleased with hit rate today. Was expecting alot worse because of the sheer speed and overcast weather.

Its a Sigma 100-300 F4 with Nikon D70. Some taken with 1.4xTC. Love the lense :p

I only flicked through a few, and my constructive criticism would be that the shutter speed was possibly too high as its frozen the wheels enough to be able to read the brand of tyre - Michelin or Bridgestone. I prefer to try and blur the wheels.

Totally agree but was concerned about bringing back a card full of blurred pictures so was a conscious decision on my part.

I tried some slower and was struggling because of positioning and the angle at which cars were approaching and passing to get anythink decent at lower shutter speeds.:rolleyes:

They're bloody fast even at the slow parts on the track :Whatever_

Found it HERE (http://www.silverstone-circuit.co.uk/html/ra_calendar.php). It's straight after the British GP on 13-15th June. Unfortunately I am away on holiday so I can't make it, and there' doesn't seem to be another one scheduled for this year :(

I notice there s no 'buy tickets' button for that date. How much does it cost to get into practice days?
