Hi all ... just got back from the honeymoon in Cyprus and I can tell you they are big on they're jap cars over there !

Seem to be a lot of Honda Integras etc and a few scoobs as well but everyone mods them right up whatever the car.

Wanted to rent an 06 STi from Subaru in Limassol but it was a bit pricey so ended up with a vitara jeep & caned it through the mountains !

Cyprus is a top place though :thumb:

I hired a Vitara jeep in Magaluf a few years ago. Overtook a car on a mountain road but underestimated the 'power-versus-distance-versus-speed of oncoming vehicle' and ended up with all four wheels locked up then with only the two right-side wheels on the road. :eek:

Fookin scarey, I'll tell you. Taught me a valuable lesson too:

Funny that... first thing i thought:- should have hired the Scoob......

There was no-one to take over in the Cyprus hills as its all cliff tracks so glad I didnt hire the scoob now ... would of cost me loads to get it repaired !
