What a fantastic race, good to see Schumacher back in winning form, though I feel luck was more on his side yesterday, and yes good defensive driving.

Added a slight mix to the championship, although Alonso is still points ahead.

The next Gp is also strong for Micheal, if he can do well here and pull in more points, it could lead to a very interesting season.

Alonso lost it really, but agree, least it's not him winning again.

Anyone else see the interview with Ron Dennis at the end. He looked thoroughly pissed off at the presenter when he cut him short at the end of the interview.

Wasn't dull when you were standing there trust me :D Schumi was really slow through tosa and kept drifitng wide mid corner. Not something that you would have picked up on through the telly. Alonso would have been quicker if he could have overtaken.

Nope, sorry, boring.

But with Imola and Monaco you don't expect to see overtaking :D

Oh and I certainly saw MSC's 'bags of understeer' as Brundle put it from the comfort of my sofa. Would loved to have been there though!

Boring my a##

There was quite a lot going on in the race, plus the potential with Michael holding everyone up for the 3rd/4th & 5th place drivers comming into play.

Alonso could have stuffed it up along side Schummy, and very probably would have done a couple of years ago, but Alonso has matured as a driver.

If it had of been Senna behind Micheal, he would have been straight past without question, regardless of consequence.

Glad Brundle mentioned it as it was really obvious from the track. I think these photos demonstrate what I am talking about.

Different lines going into the corner.....

And Schumi running wider on the exit.....

It wasn't the most exciting race I've seen this year (there's been some bloody good ones!) but was made more interesting by following the sector times on my laptop. It's the first time I've used the official F1 site (http://www.formula1.com/) live timings thingy and it was really, really good. If you've not seen it before it gives you live timings sector by sector and is bang up to date, as the cars crossed the timing lights to go in and out of the pits it flashed up on the screen. There's also some commentary alongside. :)

It was a bit of an anti-climax, following the extreme activity of the previous race, but it was still entertaining.

Such a pity that Alonso could not have got out in front, ah well, maybe next race.

As for Button's pit stop, oh dear, heads will roll, that was a tiny bit of a cock up to say the least!
