Was the confused.com and admiral's quote's declaring all of the mods???
As they seem quite low compared with my renewal, I'm with A Plan and mine is £875 with three years NCB, 3 points and claim three years ago. But all of my mods are declared.
Thats interesting £220 off by advising of admiral's quote, I'll have to try that next year.
Trap2Terrorist 24 April 2006, 13:04 The confused.com quote of £824 was with Admiral and with NO mods. The A-Plan quote (Thatcham) is also excluding any mods because my car is totally standard apart from my Momo gear knob ...........
The quote from A Plan including any "future mods" I may decide to fit, was £1049.
He did say that once the policy is running. it's often quite a bit cheaper to add mods to the existing insurance policy, than it is to have the mods "fitted" before taking out the policy.
Therefore I may change my standard wheels, exhaust, springs at some point in the future. ;)
Chris - the number for A-Plan (Thatcham) is 01635 874646 :thumb:
