Hi all

Just back from a weekend of chasing rally cars ("ours" was #62 and finished 4th overall and 2nd in class, beaten by an evo) and I myself am quite chuffed with the following pics and thought I must share them with you all.

Any comments / questions welcome, I would like to improve on these - this was my DSLR first trip into the "bush"

Very nice for your first trip.

If you can try and avoid bits of flora and fauna that stick up between you and the rally stage. They can upset the focusing at the critical time. I normally spend a bit of time pulling out bits of long grass etc.

Now if you could get a pic of one of the big 5 in the background next time then that would be one cracking shot:D

I'm in Cape Town in June for about 3 months, are there any rallies on down that way? Is there a website for SA rallies?

Thanks for the tip on the grass etc, thats a must next time,

There are a couple of SA sites for rallying etc, not sure if theres one in Cape Town in your time frame, you missed the Subaru Cape Rally about three weeks ago.
