The bbs and chat crashed a number of times this morning (4am-9am).

Andy, I know this sounds quite obvious but this happened to me last night and it was down to my ISP breaking my net connection for about 30 seconds.

I know this 'cos I've got a Cable Modem (so permanent connection) and when I lost Chat and the BBS, I couldn't ping anything on the Internet except my ISP's router. It was a short outage but made it look like it was a problem with Chat when it wasn't.

Just a thought.
