Has anyone here ever used a custom exhaust place such as powerflow or longlife to get a centre section made for their cars? Dan

Theres loads of purpose made ones on the market which will perform better and will be cheaper than any custom made one, why bother with the more expensive option. If you insist on a custom made one, get Hayward and scott to make it for you, you'll get better value for money and good performance gains as well.

The problem ive got is ive got a blitz nurspec back box and centre section with a hayward and scott one piece downpipe, i phoned hayward and scott to see if they could send me a centre section but they said that they wouldnt be able to send an off the shelf one as the nur spec centre section mite be different. I dont really fancy going all the way to essex just to get a centre section made. Dan

the big advantage i found with places like longlife is that if you got somthing thats not the norm they will make it fit and they only down in cardiff
and for what it is i.e. centre section (more or less a straight bit of pipe)
so if you not got money to burn then long life is a good way to go for the price
btw dan you were quiet last night fella

Prospeed on City road in Cardiff are also very good. Here's a link to their website http://www.pro-speedexhausts.com/

As LMR said Prospeed on city road are good. He modded my newage HKS exhaust to fit my classic. The guy who runs it Charlie is a south african guy and i believe he trained the technician's at longlife and used to work for them himself before setting up on his own. Think he's a bit cheaper than longlife as well.

Worth knowing, I did it the other way round a while back and prospeed worked out about £30 more expensive:wonder:

I'd go with prospeed as well mate. Know a few that have used them and always get glowing reports!!!
