Laserline 996 alarm fitted from new my98 uk turbo is there any way of turning dec,s up or do i just simply need to get a new alarm ......anybody help with this?

Just saw this 'cos I have a problem with the laserline 996 fitted to my MY97. Anyway, the alarm siren located under the bonnet may have a volume control located under a dust cap. You should have a key for this which will allow you to adjust the volume of the siren (2 settings: quiet and loud). Mine came set to quiet and I had to change it. However, the 996 can have different sirens and some may not be adjustable.

only early versions came with the key hole on the top:) the only way to make it louder is to put another siren on it aswell:norty: they do not have a volume level on them
