I cant go Blot, I`m too busy, but good luck with the day. I`m sure Ian will get some good pics. and it`ll be as if we were there :)

Saw you int` Noble a couple of weeks back so you must still have it? I was in the `blue bucket` going the other way but my reactions were too slow to wave

Hello Peeps, loads of work and no rally watching recently:(

Fond memories of a very slippy day at Croft Ian, lovely photo:)

Now got a 5 turbo 2 with the engine in the right place:):) Colour isn't great (pearlescent white) but Pock is busy getting some Motoscope graphics on it to give it a bit more authentic hooligan look:D

Barely got any brakes (standard:( ), suspension is standard (:but at least it sounds the part and spits flames so should be entertaining in a rallycross, spinning out of control kind of style!!

Muchos development planned:)

Neil, Scoobychick, I have to confess, Noble has been sold:( went to a bloke in Barnsley who was going to put it back to it's original non stone chip condition. Came up with 360 reasons to replace it and all of them are very lovely:)

I do beleive the numbers below have a meaning? I`ll be coming round then ;)

LOL, excuse me, but enough dissing of peugeot's, I've bought a 106 for a runabout and it's perfectly marvellous:nono: , well in a slow, leaning vaguely round corners kind of way:lol1:

Will fix summat up after easter:)

You 106 virgins:D Not sure what the best bit is, the vague steering, the clock in place of a rev counter, or the authentic smell of stale tobacco from 86k miles of one smoking previous owner!!

Scoobychick
13 April 2006, 11:24
Ooh a clock, coool

Should`ve said Sal, we`ve just sold ours :)

Had too many miles on at 86k and the steering was awfull. And would you beleive it had a clock instead of a rev counter ;)

I really have never been in a 106 before :D

blot

LOL:D

Just back from Teesside, missed a class win by 0.19 of a second:( but now know just how sideways the car will go, brakes are pretty awful as we ain't done anythng to them yet, tyres don't grip, CAN'T wait for Croft:norty:

blot
18 April 2006, 11:38
Well just to add to the crap tyres and feeble brakes, 3rd gear decided to go missing intermitently, not that you need it for many corners at Croft:Whatever_

Still good fun, car & driver wasn't very competitive, back to the drawing board ready for Knockhill...:)

You certainly seemed to be enjoying yourselves out there :norty:
I enjoyed the event and even though it was blowing a gale I seem to have a sunburnt face this morning :o There were plenty of people trying hard and some not so hard :lol1: haven't got a clue about any results so here are a few shots from the event

There's a full gallery on my site and a smaller gallery with just Renault turbo pics in here http://www.ianhardy.net/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=54854
