Gary I'm in the same boat.

I needed a policy sorting today but despite ringing yesterday and today didn't get a response.

Afraid my business has gone to Greenlight.

Sorry

Dave.

Got to say I got hold of Gary within a couple of minutes both times I called last week and he has my money now. £180 less than Greenlight (no disrespect to them)

I don't hold any sort of a grudge and I will give Gary a try at renewal time, but I was told twice yesterday that I would recieve a phone call back straight away!

As I stated earlier my dealer has requested my covernot today for some reason so I had to sort it yesterday.

Dave.

lol, well it depends how much you want to pay From Gary's posts it appears he has been very busy recently therefore not returning a couple of calls is inevitable.

If you want to speak to an out-sourced call centre and pay £500 more per year that's fine, but imo I'd rather have to wait a few days to speak to Gary and get the cheaper price

If you need an answer on the spot then I understand but if you leave it till the last minute to get your insurance then you are bound to have problems.

Rang Gary today, 30 seconds later I was through. Job sorted with the utmost efficiency, excellent price for a car not many companies would touch.

Got hold of Gary in the end. Couldnt get the qoute as cheap as A-plan which was £1189. Im 23, 6points (sp30/50), on a 53plate WRX, with Prodrive, and dump valve. And thats with protected no claims.

Tesco Will do me for £980, but without mods so im tempted to go with that

Only go with Tesco's quote without the modifications if you do not have the modifications on the car, otherwise you would be better of burning the £980 and saving yourself the trouble of arranging a policy that is void the moment it starts.

Not treading on anyone's shoes mate, Gary doesn't know me from anyone else and I'm not even insured with Keith Micheals.

I was just voicing my opinion that I'd rather pay a lot less insurance with a company that can be a little bit hard to get hold of than pay a lot more just for the sake of calls being answered immediately, usually by an outsourced call centre.
