DannyBoy007 19 March 2006, 11:13 Have you got all the pipes you need????
What FMIC have you got and is designed for your year of car???
If it's for a later model 98 onwards you'll need to get a 90 degree bend for the turbo pipe and they'll need to cut the pipe due to your 90 degree turbo outlet compared to the front entry of the 98 onwards.
I had to purchase a 38mm -25mm reducer for the dump valve and a 51mm streight hose to connect to the turbo as the hybrid kit doesn't come with it. You'll need to check the kit and the pipes to make sure you have all the bits.
Make sure they don't rush the bumper, we took about 3 hours cutting mine and there isn't alot left when you've finished
scoobypeterpump 19 March 2006, 11:16 hi guys

As his insustructions say, you will need to cut the pipe, make sure you have the extra pipes to reconnect and I'm 99% sure you need a 90 degree bend or you won't be able to connect the pipe.
I'm sure in either the members gallery or the tech section there are some photos and advise on what you will need, I remember seeeing them around the time we did mine
scoobypeterpump 19 March 2006, 11:35 danny
could you tell me where i can get the extra pipes from?

You'll need to measure your dump valve pipe, some are 22mm some are 25mm. just double check on the intercooler pipe work what size the off take is for the reducer, mine was 38mm and mine is a Hybrid one, not sure about the autoban ones.
I used an after market VTA dump valve off a 97 car, but you can use the standard one
All the pipes seem about right to me. but I can't confirm 100% as my car isn't an My96
scoobypeterpump 19 March 2006, 14:55 danny can you tell me what the 51mm straight pipe is for.
Silver Scooby Sport 19 March 2006, 15:11 danny can you tell me what the 51mm straight pipe is for.
If I remember correctly it's the lower blue one on this picture ?
scrubbed that wrong picture !
DannyBoy007 19 March 2006, 15:13 danny can you tell me what the 51mm straight pipe is for.
Mine was not included in the pack, it connected the turbo to the intercooler pipe, you'll use a 90 degree bend instead, but you need a hose to connect the other end of the cut part. if your kit comes with this hose you won't need to buy one.
scoobypeterpump 19 March 2006, 15:32 thanx danny for your help.

Throw it in the boot for the RR day we will have a little look for you and see what's best to advise.... we can give you some ideas of what you need to do to fit it as well then.
What map are you running on the car at this moment in time ?
