View Full Version : Entry List- updates chrisT.O.T.B. 13 March 2006, 02:11 we need a good response this year, and a full field of scoobs! pugsleygti 13 March 2006, 13:04 does that mean andy f ain't going to take his or is he having to check out the competition first cause he's scared lol chris scooby-si 15 March 2006, 05:43 chris yhpm mate:) Andy916 15 March 2006, 13:14 Ummm, assuming a 2min turnaround on the handling circuit, that'd be over 16 hours for 100 cars to do 5 timed laps...:wonder: Andy Neilo 15 March 2006, 13:52 you would be set off at sensible intervals, a-la GT battle...call it 20seconds.. that was youd get them in easily... P20SPD 15 March 2006, 15:18 No you wont. It will most probably work like TOTB. the 5 laps is a MAXIMUM, each lap roughly anyway between 30 and 50 seconds (depends on course). One car at a time only. Not everybody goes on the handling circuit. The maximum of 5 laps is to stop people "hogging" the handling circuit IIRC Neilo 15 March 2006, 15:27 i stand corrected :) good method :) David_Wallis 15 March 2006, 19:56 works well... especially as some of us havent driven there car round a left* hander in the last 4 - 5 years.. * Theres only right handders on a drag strip. :D David johnfelstead 15 March 2006, 20:06 You havnt been to Santa Pod then David. :D Peanuts 15 March 2006, 20:17 <mental picture> all the draggers finding stuff flying about the cabin left, right and centre because they only had to deal with/counteract front to rear forces before now </mental picture> :D ;) Houghton 15 March 2006, 21:05 works well... especially as some of us havent driven there car round a left* hander in the last 4 - 5 years.. * Theres only right handders on a drag strip. :D David Andy Forrest, in the wet, is an exception? :D P20SPD 15 March 2006, 22:46 <mental picture> all the draggers finding stuff flying about the cabin left, right and centre because they only had to deal with/counteract front to rear forces before now </mental picture> :D ;) How the feck is guinness* going to cope in the boot going round all those corners :D Steven *Guinness is a labrador Zen Performance 17 March 2006, 22:54 I'll only consider signing up if I can fullfill two (personal) criteria: 1) I'm earning enough again not to miss 55 quid too much 2) I've got the car running (and the 55 quid wouldn't be better speant getting it running) ;) work harder ;) chrisT.O.T.B. 18 March 2006, 20:23 STEVEN DARLEY P20SPD IMPREZA WAGON MARK AIGIN R19KET IMPREZA 2.33 JEFF BLAKEMORE JAY_BEE IMPREZA WRX STI TYPE R ADAM LUNN NEWBOY IMPREZA MY96 WAGON MIKE KITCHEN OLDFELLA IMPREZA ALAN BELL ALANBELL IMPREZA GARY COOPER IMPREZA WRX STI MIKEE SINGH MIKEESINGH IMPREZA TYPE R PAUL BLAMIRE ZEN PERFORMANCE IMPREZA WRX RA JOHN LINDSEY COLBY IMPREZA IAN THOMASON KNOBBYSP1 IMPREZA STI ANDREW McARTHUR PEANUTS IMPREZA 2000 DAVID WALLIS DAVID_WALLIS IMPREZA WAGON JOHN WAINWRIGHT JOHN WRX IMPREZA WRX JOSEPH LUCKETT JONJO IMPREZA V4 TYPE R K+R MOTORS KAL109 IMPREZA NEWAGE WRX STORM MOTORSPORT ASHYV IMPREZA STI TYPE RA NEIL SINCLAIR BIGSINKY IMPREZA WRX MICHAEL WHITE SUBARU LEGACY RS PHIL ROYLE IMPREZA TYPE RA BOB RAWLE BOBRAWLE IMPREZA STI 5 RICH NORMAN TRICKIE IMPREZA WRX as before, anyone who has paid online but not yet sent in the form with details wont be listed until we get the form in. rgds P20SPD 19 March 2006, 09:39 22 Tim W 19 March 2006, 11:10 work harder ;) :notworthy scooby-si 19 March 2006, 19:15 22 for me pleaseeeeeeeee :D flat4 20 March 2006, 17:52 i'm still saving up ;):D Peanuts 20 March 2006, 18:04 I'll chip in a fiver for you Kev, just need another 10 likeminded individuals Andy flat4 20 March 2006, 18:08 :lol1: i also want to make sure i'm not buying another 55 quid spectator ticket :D johnfelstead 21 March 2006, 23:59 The entry form has an error chris. You cant noise test at 3/4 throttle, everyone would blow their engines up as they sat there on the limiter. chrisT.O.T.B. 22 March 2006, 19:32 The entry form has an error chris. You cant noise test at 3/4 throttle, everyone would blow their engines up as they sat there on the limiter. yep well spotted ! i'd already sent a new version of the form to our webguys, which may well be on the site already to download. its actually going to be 105db noise limit at 4000rpm now, which is better than at 3/4 peak rpm as it should have read on original form anyway!. rgds Rannoch 23 March 2006, 19:39 Pants again - paid, printed off the form and now find that I can't go which is a HUGE disappointment if only to support the rest of the team never mind give the car a run out :( ex-webby 23 March 2006, 21:36 Roll up, Roll up!!!!!! It will be my first year for any form of competition, so I'll need to make sure my car is not excluded before I start entering events. Andy jonjo 25 March 2006, 17:12 where can I get my exhaust tested for noise levels? It will be my first year for any form of competition, so I'll need to make sure my car is not excluded before I start entering events. Andy must admit im slightly worried about this as well....?? Neilo 25 March 2006, 17:14 are there even limitations at this? there arent at most drag events.... chrisT.O.T.B. 26 March 2006, 00:42 most trackvenues are 98db static normally or 105db static at 3/4 max revs on "noisy" days. donnington also has a drive by noise test. you can have a free noise test if you are worried at any of the straightliners rwyb events at elvington, 9th april is the next one. Elvington have only just implemented their own 105db static test at 4k revs, which shouldnt be a problem unless the cars is ridiculously loud. none of the scoobs , skylines or evos failed the above limit at the last rwyb in march, but come along and check if you wish at the 9th april. |
