Default In-Car iPod adaptor

I would like to put/install my ipod into my car. Now I have a G4 ipod. In my car i have a 18month old Pioneer headunit (Radio/CD/MP3/WMA) and was thinking about getting this adaptor from pioneer Click Me but i would need a dock for the ipod to be mouned, so was thinking about this one Click Me

Has anybody have one of the above? If so what would you recomend?

Darren

Get the adaptor and put the Ipod in the glovebox.
Should be able to control it through the din unit, well you can with Kenwoods anyway.
