How many miles have you done on them?

You really need to give them a few hundred miles before worrying too much. If they're still squeeling after this then I'd say they haven't been fitted correctly of have been contaminated with grease.
Who fitted them, did they fit the anti-squeel shims back on and use copper grease..?

Fitted a set of Padgid 421's on Tuesday and they're starting to bed in quite nicely now (~100 miles) with excellent cold bite, although I'm still taking the braking easy.

Haven't noticed any extra noise from them either..!

BTW they're the easiest pads to change of any car I've owned..!

Question

fitted the brakes myself, done it a few times in the past so fittment ok. shims on. only done about 60miles. How do you clear the contamination of grease on pads, the reason i ask this is that i purchesed some standard dics from EBC direct and they were covered in grease, not a lot but noticable. I did swipe clean etc. any advice??

Sorry to say it but you should have cleaned the discs first with a proprietry brake cleaner (aerosol spray from Halfords etc.) to remove the grease contamination. Unfortunately this will now also be on the pads, not sure if it is possible to decontaminate them as such short of replacing them. Perhaps a few agressive stops may clean them once you have bedded them in?

They are coated in an oil, to prevent them from rusting prior to fitting.

It does state on the instructions that this needs to be cleaned prior to installing.
