From: Nottingham - HEY scumbag, leave my scoob alone!!!
Hi All,
Ive been trying for a while now to stop the constant rattle I get from my interior mirror(MY00 classic)
, Ive tightend the screw at the rear of the mirror, which has stopped the mirror from 'dropping' but it now appears that the actual mirror mounting is the problem.
The mirror is made to 'snap off' in the event of an accident, which I can understand, so if I put a good strong double sided tape between the mirror and the mounting plate that is fixed to the roof then maybe it will stop(Ive already tried soft foam, rubber ETC). The only other alternative is to epoxy resin the mirror to the mounting plate, I only want to do this as a last resort because of the safety aspect.
Any other ideas welcome.
Cheers
