So there I was merrily whizzing along the M1 and then it happened, hmm what was that I thought felt a bit funny, a quick look in the rear view mirror confirmed my suspicions, the plume of steam being a bit of giveaway - bloody top rad hose gone again. Pulled over and opened the bonnet to confirm, 1/2 inch split in the top rad hose and a very wet engine bay

First call to the AA, second to Adam at the clinic to see if they had any top hoses in which they did, got the AA to recover the car to em (only 47 miles ) and the boys set to work straight away. Hose changed coolant changed, test driven, levels checked all done and dusted in no time.
