Hi M@tt

Have a look at the Insurance section of Scoobynet and you will find lots of contacts and people's views on them.

Cheers

Oh but you have to realise that I'm too lazy to scroll down to anything other than general questions let alone use the 'search' facility.

LOL !

perhaps just this once I'll try that extra nipple thing on my mouse and try not to damage my finger.

But if any of you want to save any possible damage please give us your insider info !

M@TT

Just insured my car (MY00 Standard) a few weeks ago and the best quote I could get was £837. I am 27 ,clean license and have 6 years No Caims Bonus.

I phoned Tom at Schofield Insurance and I don't think he will be able to help you as he tends to specialise in P1s and Evos. Saying that he is a really friendly guy and will no doubt go out of his way to offer decent advice even if he can't find a policy for you.

Also don't bother with NFU as although they no doubt offer the best deals they unfortunately won't touch anyone under 30.

For me the two best quotes were from privalidge and a A Plan insurance. Good luck and don't be afraid to play a couple of insurance companies off against each other to try and get the best deal.

I am insured with the privilege. Recommended by Subaru.
I am just 21 and drive a 97 Impreza Turbo, have 3 points and 4 years NCD. XS of £600 and I pay around £800 a year.

Best quote I got by miles was Direct Choice. Didn't need a tracker fitted like Privelige do now and decent excess and very helpful.

Number is 0800 088 888
