SMACS to the NW STAGES RALLY, Blackpool feb 25th-26th
This is a goer, I've been contacted by a friend who marshalls this event with Stockport Motorsport Club, and he's asked how many of us are going, and on which day. He is prepared to organise a parking permit for us on the Sunday, so we can drive up and get official parking on the day, very close to the stages. 
So, as has been decided before, we're going on the sunday 26th February, getting into the stage at around 10am.
Who's coming then, as I need to tell my mate how many passes to make out

I've never been, but I'm assured by the marshall that is getting our tickets, that it is the real deal, with fire breathing monsters brushing past you at 100mph proper rallying, and proper cars

Ok, had a good chat to my marshalling friend today
Some good news and some bad news.
First the good, we will be on a closed rally stage along with the other marshalls for the days events. We will be allowed to take cameras. We will have passes to get into the site. The cars will pass us 4 times during the morning.
The bad. We cannot leave the site until the last car is through on the day, potentially 13:48pm. We cannot move from where we are positioned on the site during the event. We have to be there for marshall sign on between 9am and 10am on the sunday morning. No children are allowed on the site under a certain age (not sure what that age is, but certainly teenages would be allowed)
If your still interested in attending, then I need a definate list of names to give to the marshall by 13th february at the latest. This will then be passed onto the meeting on the 14th, and our passes made up.
We can meet at PC WORLD in Stockport on the sunday 26th for the convoy down to Weeton Army Barracks, and park up together once inside.

The only other option is to join the hoards at the public viewing places, at least this way, we get a very clear view of all the passing cars. Persuade the wife to let you go "with the lads" si, I'm sure she'll understand
