stayed up to watch the Lennox Lewis fight..
then woke up sometime this afternoon !

also driving slowish just now.. until i get the suspension looked at next week... after hitting a boulder...

Woz a guid day guys, nice n quiet.
We got loadsa runs in with a lot of peebs bein @ the hot hatch day @ knockhill

Weather wozna 2 great L8r on but earlier woz decent. Got some vid so I`ll post up some pix L8r when I`ve digitised them.

Had a good couple O runs up the strip and a larf on the oval [ eh Dek ] Generally a good day. BTW well done Dave on gettin the trophy m8

Yeah quite a good day @ Crail today, we had a convoy of 3 scoobies from Dundee to Crail with only a couple of scary moments enroute.

Did a total of 40 runs down the 1/4 mile & managed a best time of 12.91 secs (without breaking/bending or melting anything )which made us fastest in the class & Teknopete a close second.

Our best race of the day was with a Skyline R33 GTR V Spec we left him at the start but he caught us 3/4 way down the strip & beat us by about 1/2 a car length at the end. Not bad for a 250bhp UK scooby

40 bloody runs?,you must be mad! No more 1/4 miles for me, another gearbox going in shortly. Garage says the diff is totally knackered, too much abuse he said! me?...never!

I take it the rest of your box is OK & its just the diff thats been causing the bother??

Mines was crunching into 3rd & 5th but seems to have sorted itself after yesterdays abuse??!!??

Its booked in to get sorted after the Max Crail, just incase it starts playing up again.

Are you coming to the Max Crail, we are organising a meet & convoy down there.

the rest of the box is ok but because the diff is totally f***ed it is cheaper to replace the whole lot with a second hand gearbox.A replacement box from Subaru is £1700 + vat!!!!!

col, max is at crail on 5th + 6th of may, hopefully see you all there (everybody except dave brown if he is doing 1/4 miles in under 13 secs!! - i will just have to hide from every (white ?) scooby i see !!
