Hello all

As some of you may have realised it's the East Sussex Scoobs weekend away this weekend in May and on Saturday I'm organising another treasure hunt built around some of the best roads in Hampshire

It will be a SUPERB drive (trust me on this) with a bit of fun for all the family thrown in, the directions for the drive will be in a 'Rally Styley' with tulip diagrams a few questions, a few things to find and even a bit of a test of your music knowledge Gonna be superb

Those who have done one of these before will testify the atmosphere is usually superb with cars overtaking cars, people running in all directions, seeing some of the scenery in our stunnig County and usually a few domestics thrown in ('I meant left not right!') - trust me, it's a giggle

The evening will be prize giving and a social with the Sussex crew. If you'd like to come along, please let me know or post below as I'll need to know how many packs to make up.

P.S. It will be a bit shorter than last years, obviously I overestimated for the time difference in doing it in a Landy v's Scooby!

as a thankyou to jen i would like to ask that all cars that partisipate in the treasure hunt to give a min donation of £5 to charity we will then pass the money on to the richard burns memorial fund,

i would like to add that as the treasure hunt is finishing near sandyballs campsite, we shall sort out a place for a meal etc after for those that want to join us and carry on the fun, If we get a good enough reasponse sandy ***** have confermed that we can hire the function room but this will depend on no's,

if you are realy brave why not camp the night and join us at poultons park on the sunday

Will look to get some of the Landy crew involved as well, excellent idea with the RB fundraising Simon, we need to do something to aid that. I'll sort the prizes myself which'll mean all funds will go to the charity

...I should warn you though, this is going to be a treasure hunt on another level...

I'm good thanks Simon,ive been sitting here for the last 4 months waiting for show season to start again

 

HERE ARE THE MAIN DETAILS

The actual place we will start will be anounced nearer the time,:nod: but we are going to be looking at about a 2oclock arrival time, and the Treasure hunt will start at 3pm.

It will take aproxamatly 2 hours if your good,(so it will take me 4 ) and we will end up finishing at the Fighting ***** pub,

when everyone has returned we shall have the award cermony and food,
the pub food prices are resonable £5 upwords, and have 1 of the biggest menus ive seen, plus thay can seat 100 people for food!
childrens menus are avalible,

i am hopeing to arrange some silly table top games etc for after meal,:mrgreen: i will let you all know more soon

the fighting ***** pub is 500yard stagering distance from sandy-*****, so you could camp, or i will post a list of B&B soon

i bet the kids can do better, there isnt any lodgic to jens treasure hunts or is it just me,

plus you can kick them out the car, to find the clues!

well all it is getting close and after speeking to jen from hampshire, this is going to be a cracker,

it will include some of the best roads in hampshire, sugesteded by fellow scooby owners, as you all know it will finish at the same place and carry on through in to the evening, with a meal if you want then a fun scooby quiz,

Questions are being writen for us by Subraman, but unfortunatly he cannot attend the evening so i will be asking them!:2ponder:

i have learnt, from a covert mission, that team pennuts are the ones to watch out for!
