you just missed out on the Perth meet, held at the end of January. Great day out, but pity about the weather.

I'm looking to do something around the Central Scotland area towards the end of May/early June.

June 18th we have Alford
July 22nd Knockhill
August can't remember (I'm stuck offshore at the moment!)
September Scottish Motor Festival
October Knockhill revisited
October/November Tour D'Ecosse 2000

In between these dates, we have another BBQ to fit in somewhere, possibly an outing/weekend up at the west coast in the summer months (evening stay over), and another one or two karting events http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Have you ever been to the outdoor carting centre at Errol (midway between Perth and Dundee)? I've been a couple of times for 1 hour endurance events, which really are good fun.
I think it cost aroud £35 last time, which was for a 10 minute "warm up" & qualifiying session then 1 hour solid on the track! The carts and track are better than those in Dyce.

Do you think there would be much interest in such an event?

Im back from offshore just now until 23rd May. Perhaps we could have a small gathering when you guys get back. The weekend of 13th and 14th is a goer for me. The 20th my brother is getting married (the poor deluded soul)
