View Full Version : Is anyone saving up for one of these?
bug-eyed wonder 12 September 2001, 21:09 As soon as i can scrape together another £10k i'll probably try a clean Skyline too!
In the meantime pleased with MY01 which will shortly go under the "Scooby doctor's" knife for some corrective surgery. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

bug-eyed wonder 05 October 2001, 22:13 Oi M8 you've changed the piccy!! That Skyline in the dog's danglies. Hardly a fair comparision with a humble Subaru though! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
jon44w 07 October 2001, 02:01 WOW! not sure about the bonnet pins though but WOW!
I imagine there is a fair bit of money spent on top of the 40 to 50 odd k to buy the thing in the first place. Look at those wheels and that intercooler!
fast bloke 10 October 2001, 12:37 Dunno - looks a bit girlie if you ask me

we are talking about the blue car in the picture, not the white jeep in the backgroung http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
fast bloke 15 October 2001, 12:05 Jon - I know - Given the choice of say one of these, an Evo6, a R5 GTT and a scoob, it would have to be the scoob every time.
jon44w 15 October 2001, 18:57 why say an evo6 or a r5gtt? :D :D
you should change your name to slow bloke ;) :D
fast bloke 16 October 2001, 10:24 just the sort of cars that a skyline wannabe would be driving I reckon. My psychological profiler says so anyway. What sort of car have you got?
fast bloke 16 October 2001, 16:19 You can get a playstation for 200 quid now. Add on a steering wheel and a seat, a really big screen and you could have a skyline replica for about 2 grand
p.s Jon - What do you mean slow bloke. Ballymena to Larne in 19 minutes in a 996 cc Fiat Panda. That is 21 miles of back roads for the rest of you ;)
NAF 16 October 2001, 19:11 Hehe
Were you being towed by an impreza FB ??? :p
And HOW the hell did you get to 5000 posts !!!
I turn my back for 1 min ...... ;)
Niall
jon44w 16 October 2001, 19:27 ballymena to larne in 19 minutes!! bet that was a hairy sail fast bloke :D 19 minutes to cover 21 miles is about an average of 60mph! i didnt think a 998cc panda could do 60!
i have a r5gtt and an evo 6 ! coincidence or what?
fast bloke 16 October 2001, 23:17 Saw your website - nice cars. Girlfriend used to be from Ballymena - travelled the road at least twice a day for 2 years. I was only 19, so didn't realise that traffic could come the other way round blind bends etc. The Panda (note capital letters)would do about 85 flat out. It weighed ferk all, so would corner flat out as well. Could get it over 95 coming down the Larne side of Shanes hill. Eventually wiped it out on a patch of slurry below Kilwaughter cross roads. Sister wasn't too please. She still had a year of the load to pay with third party insurance....Oops
fast bloke 16 October 2001, 23:38 p.s. NAF - Its a muppet thing
jon44w 17 October 2001, 01:12 love to have seen you and the panda round that bad left hander ( coming from larne ) just before the battery inn :D :D
fast bloke 17 October 2001, 09:22 That would be one of the blind bends/wrong side corners I was talking about.
jon44w 20 October 2001, 03:28 whats the handling like with the panda?
do you a sailors licence? :D
