Looks like the insurance companies have finally given up on us. There seems to be a high rate of scooby hijacking + professional theft in Ireland. Cheapest quote I can get after mine was stolen is over 5k with Cat 1 alarm and tracking device required. (30 yo lost 3 years no claims so down to 1 year.) I can insure a GP20 M3 worth twice as much for 2.5k

I am running around in a pug 106 at the mo. I bought the wifey a beemer with the insurance money. Seemed like a good plan at the time. The pug is due to be replaced in the next 2 or 3 months, but I might keep it. 45 MPG average - no chance of getting done for speeding (you really have to work at speeding, unlike the scoob.) Every corner is a new adventure (will it turn? will it fall over?) Servicing costs 80 quid a year. A set of tyres is 60 quid.

Now where is the number for that Scooby dealer.
