Have any of you been caught speeding in England with a N.I. license?? And if so what were the consequenses? I ask because i have just had my license returned saying that they cannot endorse (ie. no points) a foreign license and also that my cheque will be returned! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
However it will go back to the issuing officer- so it may not be the end of it just yet.

Ran a Republic Licence on the mainland for a couple of years - no endorsements put on http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Exchanged Republic for a NI & again no endorsements put on http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

What I hadn't bargained for, was when I applied for a UK Provisional (in order to take my test & have 2 livences http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif ) was that DVLA had all my points ready to go on the provisional http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif Took UK test & with no benefits of having 2 licences (living currently on the mainland) let the NI one slip 5 years ago...

Also once got "let off" a minor offence when I presented my NI licence in London 'cos the copper was a lazy sod & couldn't be ar$ed with the extra paperwork. He saw another likely candidate & told me to pi$$ off & went & nabbed the hapless bunny http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif
