Hi All,

As you know there is a gb on for exhaust parts from H&S. Since this has been running it's thrown up the need for some exhaust wrap. I have managed to arrange a gb to go ahead if we get 10+ people interested in each of the lengths, prices as follows:-

50mm x 20m £22.50 (normal price £29.00)

50mm x 30m £30.00 (normal price £39.95

Stainless ties Pk 10 6.95 (normal price £9.95)

Please post your name up if you are interested.

Cheers,

Matt.

Just had a new milltek 3" cat dp fitted to mine, with no wrap on. Whats the point of exhaust wrap anyway?

you wrap the exhaust manifold and downpipes to keep the heat in. it gives better more efficient gas flow and a possibly a small increase in power.

keeps the temperature down under the bonnet but doesn't give any extra power, i've dynoed my rally car with and with exhaust wrap and the power/torque figure is exactly the same, for road cars it isn't needed, i only fitted it to my rally car incase i need to fix something under the bonnet in the middle of a event.

Well said Andy. That is why I will only use DEI exhaust wrap and I wrap more headers, up-pipes, down pipes and turbos than anybody else I know.
Nimbus Motorsport are the UK suppliers.

might as well close this group buy as no interest.
