As you are probably aware from other threads I had my scoob stolen last week. The scum have been partying with my credit card for the last week. Most of the purchases between Saturday and yesterday have been between Galway and Limerick. They are spending 80 quid a day on petrol, so I assume they must still be in the scoob. If you see a reddish blue MY98 (reg was AKZ 3530), gold alloys, slight dent in rear passenger side quarter panel and possibly a broken drivers side fog lamp can you let the guards in Galway know?

Free beer for life for anyone who finds it...

You don't happen to have slotted front discs and an oval exhaust by any chance as I came across one with 3 heads in it last Sunday, looked very dodgy looking. It had a NI reg number but to be honest I didn't take much notice of it.

Hope they catch the swines.

Cheers

It had still got the original twin pipe exhaust last week. It is possible long gone by now, but there is always a chance of someone spotting it if it is still there.

None of the credit cards have been used since last Wednesday in Galway. Looks like it is a continental scooby now... Hope the boat sinks and everyone is rescued except the scumbags who stole it. I hope they find a piece of wood to cling onto for 10 days with nothing to eat or drink except sea water. I hope one of them decides to eat the other one because of the dehydration. I hope the other one had mad cow disease.

Good job I don't hold a grudge then...

I know how you must feel. BTW how are you getting on with your insuance company. my car was never recovered and I had a hell of a job getting paid for a long time afterwards. I hope it works out better for you than for me. but be sure of one thing...........you'll come out the worst http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Real sorry to hear about your car.

What sort of alarm/immob. did you have on your car, or does it not really matter what you have to these theiving f*&^ing B*"£$%ds.

Anynews yet?

Shaun,
The alarm, imob, stoplock and large chain don't really make much difference when they break into your house and steal all the keys. Apparently Tracker Horizon is the new dogs danglies in car security. It uses both traditional tracker radio waves so that the police can track it, but also has GPS built in so that the tracker monitoring people can tell the police where to look. I think its about 700 quid, but how much will your insurance cost next year if the car disappears. Endsleigh also offer additional 10% discount if you have it fitted. Unfortunately I didn't

Paul,
Spoke to Larry. Apparently the car is being used as a one car crime spree in Cavan area. They have spotted it a few times but have been unable to catch it. I recommended that they buy another scoob and drop it in to yourself for a quick tune http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Do you think it's your car? I thought it might be.

Best of luck in catching the scum.

We will organise a special metting of the ISDC for the day that they are caught and released without charge and bring them on a spree of our own up some remote mountain http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
