Hi all.
I've never posted on the Ireland forum before.
I'm based in Belfast and drive an MY99 with no mods. I've checked back on posts re: insurance and tried Quinn Direct and NFU and Endsleigh.
Cheapest quote £1200 - last year £950
(31 yrs old/full NCD/no points or accidents)
Anyone know a place for a better deal or is this the going rate ?
Thanks for any help.

Quinn Direct are generally the cheapest for scoobs in the north. I'm 30 and until last week had 4 years NCD and cheapest was 1200 squid

You both must have bad postcodes, as I'm with Quinn and mine is £780, 28 with full NCD.

Try privilege as they have been cheapest for me three years running . I've heard Quinn's don't like any points or convictions .

Dont waste time with Privelige. They dont offer new policies here in NI any longer.
In fact, I rang 10 companies last Tuesday, and not one of them would quote. First Rate Direct in fact will only cover males aged 35-70 !!!
One knobhead told me I shouldnt be driving a car like that at my age ... w4nker >(
Good luck anyway!
Thanks for all your help.
I finally got it down to £990 protected through Endsleigh.
Only a £40 increase from last year so I can't complain.
