I have had this before but was fixed by a shop - it can't be that hard.

Turn key on lights work, kill switch on, press start oil light comes on but no starter motor.

If I remove the seat and touch the two ends of the Solenoid together with a screwdriver the starter motor turns and away we go - this is fine until you stall at some traffic lights !!!!

Where do we think the the loose connection is;

Solenoid itself ?

Solenoid to Starter ?

Button to Solenoid ?

Once I have cleaned the bike I will start to look .
