I've bought the pod which replaces the "glove box" on top of the dash board.
I've been trying to find some gauges to match the OE ones, and I wondered what anyone else may have used?
If I cant find any decent gauges Im gonna sell it, Anyone else interested?

We can supply the Lamco/STI gauges but they are mad money!!!!!!! but they are an exact match for the original.
I know there are some cheaper options........I'll check them out for you.
Paul.
Paul,
Whats mad money? and what are the gauge function options. Are you absolutely 100% sure that they are OE matching - Daylight / Night
BTW Are these the units that are factory fitted to the dash top pod in the jap models?

Sul,
I would like a few details on the pod you got, as I'm thinking of getting one -
* where did you get it from?
* how much?
* is it a good match to the rest of the dash?
* is it going to be a good fit in place of that bloody dash top 'glove box'?
* does it require any cutting before fitting the guages?
Cheers, Rikster

They are a very good match. We normally only sell the boost gauge that goes onto the steering column. It is very nice and neat and a perfect match for the dash. I have it on my car. Cost of this STI Kit is £285 Irish Punts and that's just for one gauge. I'll price the others. I presume that it's boost, volts and oil pressure that you want?
Don't think these are the standard for the jap cars.
Paul.
Rickster,
I bought the pod from MRT in Australia. It cost me all in about £90.00, icluding shipping and import tax.
It is made by subaru and has a subaru part number. The match is identical. You do need to cut the glove box in half :{ , and getting it out requires a fair bit of bravado and two feet on either side of it http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
The fit, depending on your hatchet skills is also perfect.

Paul,
Dunno about volts, I was thinking about EGT but I believe they are mad money!
At this point in time, I just want it finished, and as long as the dials look fairly trick, Ill take what I can get.
The best I've found so far are the 52mm gauges made by Omori. Can you source these? I can get them but I dont fancy sending my hard earned to Malaysia!
Thanks
