Bigears 12 January 2006, 20:55 Yeh, Dover Calais sounds good to us, with the Wed night in a B & B down there.
FX02 13 January 2006, 12:14 I'm easy. I don't mind travelling down in the morning, or staying the night before. If we stay then we need to get something booked ASAP, and there is a possibility that we won't all get in at the same place.
RB5 JIM 13 January 2006, 21:55 Tim did you check out the Thursday mornin sailing from portsmouth to cherbourg on the fast ferry ( bout 3 hrs) leaves at 8am.

API330 14 January 2006, 19:43 not far about 130 miles ish.will have a look at how much that ferry will be but it will be a lot than 60 i thinks.

Thunder77 16 January 2006, 20:58 So no clearer on route then
If overnight stay then one option is Travel Lodge. Nearest is Ashford and is £45 per room. Probably be able to find cheaper B&B.
Thunder77 16 January 2006, 21:08 Looks like B&B double rooms are about the same at £40-50 and higher.
FX02 16 January 2006, 21:38 Lets do the longest drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sod the B&B. Go all the way on day one!!!!!!!!!!!!
FX02 16 January 2006, 21:41 I won't be able to sleep the night before because I will be to excited. So I don't want to waste money when I've paid for a bed and not slept in it, just to have my breakfast.

Thunder77 17 January 2006, 21:32 faster? lol :norty:
yep cool. if we can avoid getting stuck wherever it was we got stuck last year half way down there and take a better entry route to le man we should shave a couple of hours off.
API330 19 January 2006, 19:49 dont forget your £60 at next meeting if you have not give me it yet.cheers .
Vanish 20 January 2006, 15:11 Will be going this year not sure what in yet. :) Could be a support vehicle with all the gear this year.

Quicksilver Stu 22 January 2006, 11:23 Your a funny guy, it'll work out cheaper for you if u just pay the £60 and buy ya own brekkie, wasn't it around £5 each for brekkie last time???
Anyways I'll be coming again with rockets and rockets alone, and a launch tube so we don't have to summit like an empty champagne bottle after TIM's finished spraying it all over himself. :lol1:
Uh Oh someones coming gotta go............
