If you have a new one for under 257 IEP, I'd like to talk to you.

I'll be in Ireland to pick it up the last week in feb/first week in march.

it's a shot in the dark, but hopefully i'll get one cheaper than I can get one in America.

If you are in the North, try Bishop Motorsport. Ian Bishop has worked for TTE and Prodrive. His number is 028 97 541511 or 07711 368550.

You shoul look at the brantz laser 3 £199+vat which you wont pay cos youre exporting it.

I have one, and reckon it has loads more features thatn the terratrips. I.e 0-60mph, 1/4 mile, 1/2mile etc, plus the other stuff.

Ring Montgomery motorsport : 028 85549851

have a look at

Where's Montgomery Motorsport located???

I've seen the Brantz...I may just puchase one to resell back here...they're almost 400 USD here.

199 GBP is a really good price.

The car is wired for a terratrip 303 already. I was hoping to stay with one of those. The navi who used to run in it kept the computer for himself when the car got sold.

Augher is about 120 miles from Dublin . Maybe you could get them to post it to an address you know in Dublin such as where you are staying . It'll save you a long drive .

I've written them, and am expecting a reply soon.

Their website has prices for what i'm looking for. Compared to over here it's VERY inexpensive.

Rallying is not a rare thing for you guys I guess.

You have what...7 different championships?

We have one...for the WHOLE United States...8 rallies a year...half of them require a 2 day drive or more. The nearest for me is 4 hours. After that it's over 10 hours away...

steve.

is that with or without VAT???

Up in Augher at montgomery's they had it for 189 + VAT....

To me...that's INCREDIBLY inexpensive...about 220 dollars +VAT...which I get back.

i'd make the trip to save that much.

Vat @ 20% on top unfortunately but don't forget Sterling is anything from 25 to 30% dearer than the Punt. Happy shopping.

so wait....

pounds sterling is used in the north, while the punt is in the south????

are they both marked with the little squiggly "L"??

My maximums were 207 sterling, and 257 punts...

looks like Montgomerys is your best bet, only it is a little bit far from Dublin.

Well, no one's written me back yet.

It's been a couple of days...

I only have a week and a half before I leave.
