I have just joined the ISDC. Another one closer to the 100+ members which would let Paul try for cheaper insurance.

Paul, has the ISDC ever tried to get an article in carsport to promote the club.
Or what about getting a introduction pack together (letter telling the aims of the club, a few application forms)and sending it to all the subaru dealers in Ireland (so they can tell their customers) and also send it to all the motor clubs (maybe andrew might want to join with his WRC http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif.
The more it's promoted the closer we get to 100+

We never tried any of the mags yet. All Subaru Dealers have a letter from us and a poster promoting the club. Some of the dealers have been very helpful and a few have told us literly to Feck Off http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif Can you believe that?.

Our club mag is coming out next month and many dealers have given us discounts and some have sponsored adds in the mag.

We need some more help with the club and will be looking for comittee members at our meeting on the 24th of Feb.

This is going to be a great year for the Club but we nees as much support as we can.

Have you any promo leaflets or similiar ? If so I could hand a few out at Kirkiston if you don't make it up to it . I'm sure there will be a few scoobys there .
BTW I was at Rally School Ireland today (sat) driving the MK2 . Temptation got the better of me and I had a few laps in the impreza . They are very busy at the minute - about 20 people doing the course today . There was a guy there who arrived in a WRX ( from Lisburn I think ) and I thought here's somebody who'll drive the impreza well . I wes wrong . He was trying to hard and he was the only one who needed the tractor to pull the impreza out when he lost it BIG style . I was telling him abouy ISDC . Seemed interested .

The GpN scoob is absoultely awsome on the gravel!!! the escorts are seriously good fun, I think they have upgraded the Escorts since I was there about 9 months ago. The whole thing is very professionally run!

I just sent you a file that you can print out and cut up into four leaflets. We have had a lot of sucess with putting these under windscreen wipers of Subarus.

I'm also waiting patiently on the info from Mondello. Only not very patient by now.I have to have the dates fro the big meeting on the 24th.

Mondello are spending 20million pounds on the track and new stands pits etc and somehow think that the ISDC are going to pay for it all !!!!!!!!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif

They quoted me 750 last year and now want £3,500 although the porche club are getting it for 700 !!!!!

I'm expecting a call from him this week(John Morris general manager) if not I'll call in and I'll let you all know.
