we will no doubt have a few cars go down from our club as always, agreed the site is very maxpower now as a lot of the members are corsa, saxo kids coming over from the old spillars site but it still has a few decent jap cars there too, sadly im sure it wont be long before its taken over by the arnison centre/silverlink crew which will be a shame..

as for our japtuner meets yes we have organised a monthly meet which will be jap car only at the nissan sports and social club in the factory grounds, with licenced bar and food available indoors we think this is probably the best location we could find, we are planning on the 1st sunday of every month but as always please check our club site www.japtuner.co.uk/forum/ (http://www.japtuner.co.uk/forum/) for final conformation of dates. We have been given use of a massive car park at the sports club so intime fingers crossed this will turnout to be a main meeting point for all the jap scene of the north-east

we are in the process of printing out flyers for the meets so im sure you guys will get em on your windscreens soon

I went down - had a drive round the carpark (yellow sports special with pig sticker on wing mirror). There were a few nice cars - purple supra was very nice (well over the top for me) but nicely done.
Nice Stickered up Mica blue classic and some nice evo's.

Howie

PS Who was the guy in the silver saxo with twin 5" exhausts in front of me round the carpark -he had bad a case of "look at me, LOOK AT ME" syndrom by ragging his car out the car park every time. :nono:

I had a pop along for a while (black almera gti with the white stickers on the rear window, I was wearin a yellow hoody takin video)

I agree with the the corsas and saxos, hopefully the meet Im organising saturday coming will sort that problem out (seperate parking for non jap cars, and club parking for jap cars so u can all be together) and hopefully japnortheast will get a bigger car parl for the next meet and adopt the same way of working. Hats off to the lads though. Sites only been around for a couple of months but they have a good following!

I can honestly say I am very upset and angered by the posts in this Topic as indeed are the members of japnortheast.co.uk, whom are appaled by this post.

Being the Administrator of japnortheast.co.uk the site in question. I request that this post be removed inline with professional forum etiquette.

Yes granted there are a few users with Saxos and Corsas on the site...however these are people who aspire to own Jap Cars.. and will one day be the future of the Jap car Culture as indeed there are on all sites that I know of.

Equally if you check out the meet pics located here you will see that 95%+ are Jap Cars.

http://www.japnortheast.co.uk/forum/index.php?showforum=44

The tactics employed by some on this site is very questionable to say the least.

Alright Tim! I used to have a Mini and an Escort and a Cinqucento and a Clio which were all modded. I did aspire to own a jap car. I never drove them round like the lunatic saxo driver at Japcar meets tho. I went it was good - some nice jap and other cars there (couple or RS').

I reckon u've taken this thread to heart a little  - and i haven't got any "tactics".

So www.japnortheast.co.uk is for max power types !! This is complete rubbish. and you know it. As for non jap cars, they are welcome as we all aspire to own Jap 1 day.

www.japnortheast.co.uk have currently 550+ Members and 75% own Jap Cars, unlike some sites I know.

I was reading comments from Japtuner about etiquette and they slag off a site that's been going 11 weeks. I don't understand how or why but if this is the sort of tosser remark scooby net allows then I am not surprised it supports idiots like this !!

if you read the full post you will see that i was simply agreeing with another post on this thread that the meets were starting to be a lil maxpowerish and you will note that i also said that will be a shame if this sort of member takes over the site

what does aspiring to own a jap car mean exactly what do you class as a jap car exactly? if a younr 17/18 yearold car fan can afford to spend 2-3k on a corsa clio saxo type of car but wants to aspire to own a jap car explain why he or she cant spend 2-3k on a jap car eg civic,almera.200sx.celica,integra,starlet,micra,sw ift.crx, colt, corolla
how many more jap cars do i need to list or are they not classed as jap cars because they are not turbocharged 200+bhp cars

"Max power" ???

Which site are you looking at, is that another japtuner slant at things, quite funny how the posts on here are all backing japtuner. There are members of this forum who feel different, must just be the odd 1 or 2 out to spoil it for the rest!!

your choice, but remember when you realise your on the wrong forum, then you will be stuck !!

keep the faith !!

you don't obviously want new members 1 day, !!:iamwithst
