I have recently negotiated SMACS members discounts at PROSPORT and also GRADE A BREAKERS. The discount will be available when you show your SMACS membership card, and is worth 10% off. I now need to get printing some cards. If your not a current SMACS (http://www.scoobysmacs.co.uk) member, I would ask that you attend at least 5 events in the next few months to become one. This wont be hard to do, as we have a lot of things planned for the new year. Hope to see you on the next run-out :)

I have to say hats of for negotiating that one Chris, seeing as a lot of people use Grade 'A' and Prosport, should save a significant amount.

Some more good news on the discount front this morning. I've emailed Mark at HT AUTOS of NEW MILLS (http://www.htautos.co.uk/) and he has kindly agreed to giving smacs members access to TRADE PRICES + 10% OFF! Which is frankly very generous, as he hasn't actually met any of us yet :)
I am in the process of getting cards made, which is not as easy as it sounds :(, once they're printed out, copies will be sent to PROSPORT, GRADE A and HT AUTOS. Until you've got your card though, you aint getting any money off.
Oh, and it doesn't apply to the rolling road day at Prosport either :)

LOL @ Barnesy :) I've just been in to see Mark, the owner of HT AUTOS, and what a top bloke too. He's mailed me his price list, and with the trade prices, and the 10% off on SOME items, it makes for a very good deal. I've just got to persuade him to do a new age front splitter now, supertouring, can he lend yours to model? :)

So, just to recap, these cards will allow you a 10% discount @ prosport (tell them you want the smacs discount when you book your car in for work first), grade a in hayfield and ht autos in newmills. Ht autos will also do some of his products at trade prices :)

The members discounts are now live :) The businesses in the scheme have a copy of our membership card, and a list of members. They also have your real names, so no cheating. I would ask that you respect the spirit of this deal, and don't lend your card or identitiy to all and sundry, as this will spoil the idea behind it.
